My philosophy for a happy life
Hello everyone, I'm Victor, and as of today, I've officially entered my twenties. A few years back, before my freshman year in high school, I harbored a dream – to play the snare drum in the Foxboro High School Marching Band. However, there was a significant obstacle in my path: my condition, Progeria, limited my physical abilities. With each snare drum and harness weighing around 40 pounds, and my own weight barely tipping 50 pounds, carrying a standard-sized snare drum was simply out of the question. But I was determined to make my dream a reality.

How to stop your thoughts from controlling your life
Have you ever stopped to ponder how many of your thoughts serve to propel you toward your life's aspirations, while others seem to act as invisible chains, hindering your progress? Do you truly wield control over the myriad streams of thought flowing through your mind? These are the profound questions that struck me during my transformative stay at a Buddhist monastery nestled in the serene forests of southern Thailand, four years ago. Life in the monastery was a stark departure from the bustling modern world – with its wooden pillows, straw mats, predawn wake-up calls, and marathon 10-hour meditation sessions each day.

How to Achieve More by doing Less
In the bustling landscape of modern productivity, where the incessant pursuit of achievement often overshadows the importance of deliberate focus, many individuals find themselves entangled in a web of busyness, perpetually striving to fill their schedules with an array of tasks in a bid to validate their sense of productivity. Yet, amidst this whirlwind of activity, they inadvertently sacrifice the very essence of true effectiveness—focused execution. The paradox of productivity lies not in the sheer volume of tasks accomplished but rather in the strategic allocation of time and energy towards activities that yield the highest returns.

How to learn anything
Hello, everyone. Two years ago, my life underwent a profound transformation. My wife Kelsey and I were blessed with the arrival of our daughter Lela. The journey into parenthood is truly remarkable; it's like stepping into a whole new world where your priorities shift overnight. Adapting to this new role comes with its own set of challenges, such as mastering the art of dressing your child – something I found quite daunting at first, as evidenced by some of my initial wardrobe choices for Lela.
