World Peace, Maybe

every person really is living the same life

good or bad

rich or poor

no matter your place of birth

we all want to be loved

we all get sad

we all get mad

we all had childhood dreams

what if all bitter adults

are just sad children

whose dreams never came true

we all even have favorite songs

we all have movies we watch to have a good cry

we all have friendships that just faded

and damn that never stops hurting

so maybe we should be nicer to each other

we all are chasing one thing

happiness

and whatever happiness is to you

whatever big goal

or small moment

that is

happiness should be within your means

we all should want each other to be happy

then life would be so easy

if we all supported each other

instead of competing against each other

that is world peace right there

all happy together

it's not like happiness can go out of sale
