Why would I care?

And why should you.

Something to start, let's play our part!

Life could be so much fun, without all those filters

That builds your heart into stone.

πŸ“±

Tears that run over screens and imaginary screams,

Always connected to series, movies, and digital dreams.

In real life, we are all a shadow of what we want to become,

Waiting for likes, for viral, for smiles, and for fun...

πŸ“±

We want to share our virtual life, our life on board

Of those digital likes, dreams, and fun.

Forget-me-not, I'll get another post under the sun.

If something terrible happens, don't you worry!

I'll get it over the phone...

Someone can be the hero, anybody can help,

But the one who saves it can go hot like hell!

πŸ“±

Don't get me wrong, we are nice indeed.

We just want to feel connected,

We want to impress the world,

Have a piece of love.

Isn't those 'likes' like any other form of embracing life?

We have a voice, a view for life, why can't we share it?

πŸ“±

Once upon a time, we did care.

Something about smiling through the day,

Feeling life, observing our surroundings, staying aware

Of that person that we couldn't see, just share with a mirror.

Does that image define me?

πŸ“±

Why should we care, if someone gets hurt?

We get hurt all the time, and no one seems to care.

Furthermore, I live how I want,

I am free like a bird, singing my song!

πŸ“±

Freedom comes with a price, a tag, and a gag.

How can we be free if we can't wave our hands?

Most of us, today, come with a rewind in our ends.

πŸ“±

Global connection is something equal to drink,

One seems to don't know how to stop.

No one gets to think.

No one wants to stop.

Just a vicious cycle,

Of adding up more.

Until we are no more, just a vessel.

No identity, solitude disguised as 'likes'.

πŸ“΄

Congrats to y'all who know what you are.

Understanding within seems something so rare!

You take your time, you go offline.

The birds sing the songs, and your ears seem to catch

Those unforgettable moments craved into your memories.

πŸ“΄

Balance is all, we are all humane...

Let's just take the fall, get up, and fall again!

πŸ“΄

Life itself is a cycle that we must cross,

Let's make every moment worth it,

Let's live life since it's just this one.

πŸ“΄πŸ“±

We are online in life, the best likes are the

Ones that stay engraved in our hearts.

On and off we go, engraving other minds.

Checking our surroundings, helping just because we can.

πŸ“΄πŸ“±

Please, if you see someone that needs help, any help.

If you can, just lend your free hand.

We do have pockets where fit our phone. πŸ“΄πŸ“±

Don't get me wrong, I do love technology. It's something very important today. As always, we chose how we use the instruments that life gives us. Live the real you in and out of frame.

I've felt the need to leave this out of my mind. One man died. One man got injured. Both getting beated up in different places, while people were filming, or just looking. Even police. It's unusual for me. People tend to lose their senses behind their smartphones, or being afraid to be other victim.

When you want to help, don't forget:

  1. Check your surroundings, is it safe? Worst that one person needing help, are two people needing it.
  2. If you don't know how to do it, you can always make other people aware of the situation, or calling for help.
  3. There is strengh in numbers, let's we all just be safe.
