‘When the Answer Is No’ Protocols
A Step-By-Step Guide of What Happens Next
A cemented “No”
Not today
Eyes closing
please go away
Rest won’t get this
Easy can’t let this
Slide through to slow rise and nominal function
I need the full exhale
the coffin pre-empt of final nail
last intervention to forestall fail
I am dangerous this tired
reserves siphoned deep
insurmountable tasks cavernous creep
continue in absentia plus a questionable week
Sounds seek my soul
too tired to resist
grateful for the melody
not the damned pharmacist
Natural healing for spirit reeling
in focused pursuit of all my feeling
I will reacquire my mojo
Give you answers other than “Oh no”
Just need that sacred altar shrine
One-on-one moments with the Goddess divine
Rituals address depletion in sacred cycles of nine
before and after pics guaranteed
cuz honey my comeback gon’ be betta than fine

Living is a state of flux, and we always beat ourselves up on the downswing. This is perfect.
