We Are Moments

But Moments Are Not Us

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished about a year ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read

Moments

Those elusive fragments

Slipping through our fingers

Not meant to be forever

Just tiny excerpts of whom we are

Of the memories and

Vestiges of feelings

Living in perpetuity in our

Hearts and souls

Moments are not forever

Nor are they meant to be

They are simply snippets

That comprise our foreverness

the living cells of our existence

Tiny puzzle pieces of the grandness that

Curates who we are

We are these moments

But moments are not us

Nice succinct piece. (I was just rereading something I wrote about our moments not being an end in themselves.)
