Vengeance

always cold, always cruel

By HufflecupPublished 7 months ago 1 min read

vengeance rises from the cold ash

the bitter taste of misguided grievances

cruel to honor a blood soaked deal

the stains on your steel become your guiding light

craving the caustic touch

one last scarlet smile

integrity a reflected facade

scars marking you as a reliable inferno

a beast tamed in the crucible

a tool for the morals of selfish gods

vengeance comes for all

the executioner must be brought to justice

the punisher, punished

when the last drops fall

the survivor will be shameless

not blameless

vengeance will be a sorrowful life
