has been vanquished in a fiery grave

your life

is everlasting, beyond the end days

suffering

is dead and has surrendered control

God

will collect your immortal soul

Satan

has been conquered: it is written in the scrolls

    I like the contrast between the longer sentences and the single word-lines, and this works well both ways. A thought-provoking poem, especially for today’s world.

    The age old battle between God and the devil. I think the are both tied right about now. Half of us with one and half the other. Who will be winning. Great poem.
