Twogether
A Sonnet and Sonata for Togetherness and Teamwork
I am a little lazy using the standard Sonnet format once more when I have many forms to pursue, but there is time for this. I have used one of my favourite soul records of all time Frank Wilson's "Do I Love You?" because that is how I feel when someone encourages and supports me in the things I love to do, and it is wonderful to be together on a quest , adventure or a project.
Twogether
Times of our lives sometimes spent on our own
Awaiting a call or wanting a touch
Twogether we are better, know that much
What we have now shows just how we have grown
Love and more for each other's creation
Creativity our newest playground
Means we are now moving heavenly bound
The beauty of our association
Now we are playing on the field of words
Led by your sweet hand to lose us here
In our dictionary of Nirvana
We will swim in rivers, and wade through fords
Twogether holding hands. will lose our fear
Composing our beautiful sonata
