Finally the day, where we’ll be together,

Has now arrived, and today I will treasure,

To say it’s an honour, to be by your side,

To be your man, I’ll certainly not hide,

I wish in these words, that short painfully fall,

As this distance between us, is now un-bear-able,

I cannot contain, this love that keeps growing,

And my heart since we met, is always overflowing,

You came into my life, I will never forget,

Meeting you sooner, is my only regret,

The first time I met you, I couldn’t explain,

How love really hit me, like a speeding train,

I felt that I touched, an angel for sure,

A genuine soul, with a heart that’s so pure,

I have always been able, to control my emotions,

But within my heart, are now constant explosions,

The draw of your beauty, I have never felt,

I wasn’t prepared, for these cards I’d been dealt,

I knew I was in trouble, the next date that we met,

As you crossed the road, my heart truly leapt,

So to say I’m excited, to see you today,

Is woefully short, in each and every way,

Today is now here, I feel so fucking happy,
