These eyes

…have seen…

She’s been told many times, “you have pretty eyes.”

But of those who’ve uttered those words, very few have taken the time to notice that those eyes express her emotions when she can’t find the words.

Shades of green, brown and a sprinkling of gold. Each color more prevelant based on the color she wears or what’s on her mind.

Her eyes are rather big, almost doe like. Created that way to observe her surroundings. Big enough to take in all the little things most don’t bother to notice.

In one look she can tell you a whole story. But her gaze is so intense most look away before the story is complete.

If you want to know how she feels, watch her eyes.

The darker the green the deeper the hurt.

Do you see the specks of gold sparkle when she looks at you? That’s a sign of either happiness or brewing mischief.

Sometimes when it’s hard to express how she truly feels she won’t let you see her eyes. She knows they give her true feelings away.

When she loves you, her eyes are always on you, trying to express just how much you mean to her in a single look.

Sure her eyes are pretty, but they are so much more than that.

What do you see?
