The road to no end

There was a road that no one knew it went,

As long as your eyes can see.

The road stretched for miles on end,

You are driving at full speed.

Nothing but purple mountains and hazy skies,

Glistening in the crystal blue waters.

Miles of road, if you go off the ledge, straight to your own demise,

No one to catch you, no one to watch you, no one to hear you holler.

Finally, you get to a turn not knowing where it leads,

Do you turn, do keep going, what do you do?

You wake up in fright to your loud shriek,

Asking yourself if it was really all true?
