Sometimes my body doesn’t feel like home anymore

And I wish I could disappear into thin air

Leave without a word to a place

Where there is no sadness or heartbreak

Sometimes my mind is poisoned

The long black tentacles of madness

Blinding my thoughts and killing the joy

Pushing me into the soft arms of sorrow

Sometimes I don’t recognise the reflection in the mirror

My fingers slowly examining every curve of the unknown face

Uncertainty reflecting in the strange eyes

Looking around for a piece of explanation

Sometimes the light doesn’t get in through a curtain

And the room decays in the darkness

Strangled by my own cries

I let the silence violently surround me
