I must say this is the day kids wait forever to come, just to get their candy bounty and binge on it.
Haha! Well, my kids hit every house in the hood, so the candy bounty is out of control over here…and I seem to have lost all self control.
Since I live in a building, I just donate to the party they have in the lobby. So there's never leftovers. I may or may not have bought a couple of chocolate bars for myself though. 😉
I don't miss the Halloween stuff...but extra chocolate does sound good. Especially if you were not tighwads and got good stuff that you can then "recycle" yourself. Great little poem, either way, pal!
Around 8:30 last night my wife called out, "That's it, the light's going off. All the candy's gone." I think after a lull of around 45 minutes, when that last group came she just tipped the bowl over into their bags, lol. (We had a lot of candy for a small town.)
Lol, more for you! Now I'm craving chocolate!
Sounds about right. Lol. Nice job.
Wow that was relatable! We got a few ghostly (and hockey player) visitors last night, but it was pretty quiet and now we have loads of tasty bite sized chocolate!
Great morning after haiku.🍫
I made candy apples, nobody comes to our house but I love to eat them 😋
I under bought lol 😂
No need for fright, Just chocolate's pure might. A bitter cold night, but I'm alright.
👻
Ya can’t let it go to waste, never, nice one buddy 😊😊
Chocolate coma, lol. Yup sounds about right. This is our first Halloween at a new house. The neighbors said that they don’t get trick-or-treaters. But of course we had to get at least one bag of candy just in case. And they were right, the houses on the street are kinda far from the street itself and barely any sidewalks, lol. Oh well, at least we got candy we like.
