Wind is like the sea;
when it whispers we forget
its enormity.

The History of Boat and Sea
-
Her sail a dress,
a soft caress
of keel and rudder
fingertips –
the ocean spreads
like parting lips
and falls in love
with sailing ships.
-
Beneath the skies
the ocean sighs,
and feels the touch
of every boat –
a sea of love
keeps each afloat.
Each ocean wave
is a love note.
-
The history
of boat and sea
has always been
a love affair –
with every touch
these lovers share
an effortless
and perfect prayer.
-
These lovers share
a perfect prayer,
an effortless
and perfect prayer –
each consummated
love affair
sails onward through
the salty air!
