The Colorful Cat Canvas
A poem about cats
In a world of feline hues so vast,
A palette of cats, each one a contrast.
Behold the colors that dance and play,
In fur-coated wonders, both night and day.
First, there's Ebony, midnight's embrace,
A sleek shadow prowling with elegance and grace.
With eyes that gleam like orbs of coal,
A mystic creature, capturing the soul.
Next, Amber's warmth in the morning light,
Glowing like embers, burning bright.
A golden coat that shimmers and glows,
A radiant beauty, the sunlight bestows.
The Siamese, a vision of contrast,
With fur-like cream, and points that last.
Blue-eyed and regal, a royal scene,
A work of art, a living dream.
Ginger, the fire in the heart,
A blaze of fur, a vibrant start.
Bold and playful, a spirited sprite,
A burst of color, a pure delight.
Snowy white, a canvas pristine,
A canvas for dreams, a winter queen.
Ice-blue eyes that sparkle and gleam,
A gentle spirit, a tranquil dream.
Calico, a quilt of shades,
A patchwork coat, a symphony of braids.
A kaleidoscope of hues so grand,
A masterpiece created by nature's hand.
Tabby, striped like autumn's tree,
A patterned wonder, wild and free.
Golden stripes on a background of tan,
A wild adventurer, a daring plan.
Tuxedo, dressed for a formal affair,
Black and white, a classic pair.
Sophisticated, with style to spare,
A dapper cat, debonair.
In this tapestry of feline art,
Each cat a masterpiece, playing its part.
Colors and patterns, a visual song,
A gallery of cats, where they belong.
So, let's celebrate this vibrant sight,
With pictures that capture the colors so bright.
In the world of cats, a rainbow array,
A canvas of beauty that brightens our day.

Love the poem and also all the wonderful accompanying images! A kaleidoscope of cats. ❤️
Okay, so I'm in love with this poem. I absolutely think it needs to be framed, photos and all, and shipped to my sister for Christmas. LOL! But then, of course, her cat would be horrifically jealous and insulted that she, too, wasn't on the wall, and I'd have to come back to you begging for a poem all about her queenliness alone. It's just a lot of work for everyone involved, so I'll just stop at commenting to tell you this is brilliant. I love the way the stanzas flow, and how you addressed every possible color. I can't see the images myself, but you did an incredible job at painting the colors and patterns in such a way as to evoke imagery, even for a blindie like me. Fantastic work.
I LOVE this! The poem, the descriptions, the pictures. Life long cat lover and Leo.😻Cats are so intelligent, independent and loving.
All adorable! My goodness, cats can do no wrong😁 Brilliant work of poetry and unique among the top stories. Congratulations!

I'm a hugeeeee cat lover and I enjoyed this poem so much! May I know the name of your grandson's cat?
Congratulations on TS. What a magnificent tribute to our 4-legged wonders (I mean, I wonder what they'll do next). My cat, Midnight, was blacker than the night with stars aqua eyes. I miss that precious bundle of joy.
This is simply wonderful. Congrats on the TS.
Nice pictures of cats, there are so many varieties! You've also reminded me how many miniature poodles look exactly the same. I see identical twins of mine everyplace!
Nice
