Scones and a cuppa for Smoko.

Amidst the daily grind, a pause we find,

Brewing tales in cups, in mateship we bind.

Cheers to the scone with jam and cream

Delicious delight to renew the team.

Elevenses arrive, a moment to share,

Friendship blossoming, laughter in the air

Gathered 'round tables, tales to unfold,

Heralding Smoko, a tradition so bold.

In the break's respite, laughter cascades,

Journeys recounted in shared escapades.

Kindred spirits, united in brew,

Laughter and chatter, a routine we renew.

Morning to midday, the rhythm flows,

Nurturing bonds where mateship grows.

Over a cuppa, stories unfold,

Pausing for Smoko, tales to be told.

Quiet conversations, whispered in steam,

Refreshing the spirit, a midday dream.

Steaming mugs cradle stories untold,

Tea-break magic in the tales it holds.

Unravelling moments in the Smoko air,

Voices intermingling, a symphony rare.

Whiffs of memories in the tea leaves steeped,

Xanadu of connection, secrets shared and kept.

Yearning for the next break to arrive,

Zeal for Smoko, an Aussie tradition to thrive.

Traditions are such a treat, so different for everywhere you go. Yet some mean different things to everyone, so be careful.

I like this~ great way of giving tribute to a tradition that may be called a different thing in Australia, but a lot of us around the world can actually relate to. Especially office goers!
