I thank you for just being you, a cliché I know

But clichés aside you alone have helped me grow

Holding tight my hand when the journey was long

You helped me do right, where I once did so wrong

Because Beautiful it’s the things you do, not what you say

That made me evolve into the man I have become today

Those hazel eyes saw strait through my flaws

You stole my heart and made it beat to yours

Oh and thank you again for the everyday stuff

Before you I lacked a reason, I was never enough

When I got dark and I tried to die

You broke the rope and raised high

Your whispers the only thing keeping me sane

Pulling me through time and time again

You lighted my world and reset my fuse
