surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Adrift
At night I lay patiently on my bed under the sliver of light streaming through my window, waiting for sleep to take hold. Each night is an adventure, adrift in a sea of memories, fears, dreams, and anxieties; I wait calmly for the next endeavour, ready to navigate the stormy seas of my mind.

Life is only as good as You.
What does it mean to be good? To be right...to feel good about your self? How do you know when you're really REALLY feeling good? At what point do you, as an entire person, become a little bit wrong, or a little bit bad? How perfect do you think you are? And how perfect am I?
