A Family Mystery Uncovered
A family mystery that has just been uncovered. during a Sunday memorial with so much to discover. The passing of a sister who's the glue to them all now stays planted in the ground, like wallpaper on the wall. Left behind is a notebook full of demand, a secret for the family left with a marathon man. A lover she held close to keep up with most, of the stress and drama from a family that never loved her. The marathon man ready to tell the truth, that the sister isn't who she's said she is, that she is a sister of two.

I WROTE THIS POEM FIVE YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS NEW TO DAYCARE AND TRYING TO GET A HYPER-VIGILANT TODDLER TO SLEEP DURING NAP TIME. I HAD BEEN STRUCK BY A STORY ABOUT THE NEED TO OPEN THE LARGE CATHEDRAL DOORS IN NEW YORK CITY TO ALLOW AN ELEPHANT TO RECEIVE A BLESSING ON ST. FRANCIS'S FEAST DAY!

You know what I find amazing, how you can go through life skirting around, actually not skirting, skirting sounds too gleeful, I’d say more tripping and crawling around that very thing you want to do but have so much anxiety over you’d rather die a slow death avoiding it than seizing it to unscrew its head and slip yourself inside.
