surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Looking in
She took her fears and bottled them deep, so others might not feel the wake. But luckily it became clear to see that this was a mistake. It gave them power to leak in and take ahold. For that she must be bold and face those demons that haunt her mind. Slowly those damaging thoughts begin to unwind. Forming new shapes in the place of shadows. What once was unknown is now an adventure or seedling to be grown. No longer a delicate ship stuffed in a bottle made of glass but now the hero brave enough to not wear a mask.
