surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.

3. It was show and tell day at school today and what perfect thing to show and tell other than this new watch that my dad gave me. so I got ready for school. mom drove me to school I packed the watch in my backpack and I was so ready for all the other kids to see this cool watch I had. usually everybody else just brought action figures or little girly dolls, all the typical kid stuff. but today I actually had something worth showing. a nice golden watch. nobody can compete with my show and tell today.

2. The time finally came when he gave me the watch. He told me in these exact words, "son this watch means a lot to our family. I want you to guard it with your life and maybe one day you can give it to your son, and then he can give it to his son keep the generation going. keep the tradition going"

1. My dad has this watch he always used to wear and I used to think it was so cool. in real life who actually cares what I'm talking about when I'm talking about this. anyways, when I found out it was our favorite family heirloom, I was like that’s crazy and when I also found out that they get passed down to the first son of the family I said that watch is about to be mine. I can’t wait until I get old enough for dad to pass it down to me cause I really wanna wear that watch.

10. We get back to the crib and everybody’s ecstatic for the pizza. we got pizza, breadsticks, chicken wings, and soda. and we even got cinnamon sticks. yeah, it was about to be a pretty good family dinner tonight. everybody’s talking about what a good day we had and just overall good family time. I’m glad today I got to spend with my family was such a nice day out. The park is such a serene place to hang. we really need to do more stuff like this I actually enjoyed it and what a good conclusion to this glorious evening.

9. I put my shoes back on after chilling for a little bit and me and Mom walk next-door to go to the pizza place. how convenient was it at the pizza spot is right next-door to our apartment building? anyways, we go in there and pick up the order. the pizza place was so authentic and cool looking. I forgot why were even there. I just want to stay for a while. but anyways, we got the pizza. I walked on back home. about to eat good tonight. that pizza smells so good bro. I can’t wait to eat a slice.

8. We do a family vote as we usually do when it comes to making decisions like this. and of course everybody decided on pizza. I really wasn’t that pressed about it anyways. I knew that I was going to be outnumbered in the voting process. it was just that I kind of wanted to switch it up and I was craving some orange chicken from the Chinese spot. anyways, I guess we’re about to go get the pizza me and Mom. The pizza spot is right next door to our house so it should be easy grab and go.

7. as we’re driving home, mom and dad are asking us what we should eat tonight. I don’t really know what everybody else is feeling but I do know that I am feeling some Chinese food. so my brothers and them want pizza or burgers. I really kind of want to switch it up tonight. anyways we make it back to the crib and try to make a final decision on what we’re going to eat tonight. I hope it is what I want at this point. honestly, I really don’t care. I’m just kinda hungry for real.
