Sometimes the things we're grateful for get lost in the noise of other thoughts that bully us to be heard first. i grew up in an environment where emotions were taboo, so creativity became my journal. Every day is something to be grateful for.

I Have Called the Darkness Friend
I Have Called the Darkness Friend You call me dramatic; you say I speak in fear, But you weren’t there beside me when the darkness drew near. You haven’t heard the whispers dressed in promises of light, Or watched a thing that seemed so good reveal its face at night.

The Lonely Road of the Called
The Lonely Road of the Called The road of the called is a treacherous climb, Where eternity whispers through the hands of time. Where the crowds may applaud you, then leave you to bleed, And the ones you would die for may question your creed.

Robes of Light
(Verse 1] I carry weapons of wisdom and knowledge Not made of iron, not made to wound They rest like old rivers under my heartbeat A compass turning when truth comes through [Pre-Chorus] Deep in my celestial DNA A knowing older than the names we gave [Chorus] I am clothed in radiant robes of light Shimmering through the veil, I rise Ancient and divine, awake inside I carry what the ages left with me I carry what the ages left with me [Verse 2] When the world grows loud, I keep my center When the road divides, I feel the way There is a flame no storm can borrow There is a dawn held in my veins [Pre-Chorus] Deep in my celestial DNA A knowing older than the names we gave [Chorus] I am clothed in radiant robes of light Shimmering through the veil, I rise Ancient and divine, awake inside I carry what the ages left with me I carry what the ages left with me [Bridge] Not above the earth, but rooted in it Not beyond the heart, but beating here I remember what the silence taught me I bring its quiet courage near [Final Chorus] I am clothed in radiant robes of light Shimmering through the veil, I rise Ancient and divine, awake inside I carry what the ages left with me I carry what the ages left with me [Outro] Deep in my celestial DNA A knowing that will never fade

Look In The Mirror
[Verse 1] You call me names when your argument bends Kick up the dust, then declare it the end You point at my flaws like they cancel your own But the glass keeps a record when we’re alone [Pre-Chorus] It’s easy to judge from a safe little hill Harder to ask what you’re hiding there still [Chorus] Look in the mirror before you throw stones Own what you carry, own what you’ve shown If all you can do is attack what I say Maybe your pride is in the way Look in the mirror—start there today [Verse 2] You dress up your anger as righteous concern Then dodge every question you don’t want to learn You say I’m the problem, you say I’m the cause But blame isn’t proof, and volume’s not laws [Pre-Chorus] We all have a part we would rather not name But pointing away doesn’t lessen the stain [Chorus] Look in the mirror before you throw stones Own what you carry, own what you’ve shown If all you can do is attack what I say Maybe your pride is in the way Look in the mirror—start there today [Bridge] I’m not above it, I know that’s true I’ve worn that armor and swung it too So I’ll take my share, let the hard truth in That’s where the change—and the change—begins [Final Chorus] Look in the mirror before you throw stones Own what you carry, own what you’ve shown We can disagree and still choose to be fair Drop the cheap shot; meet me there Look in the mirror—start there today [Outro] Start there today Look in the mirror
