Sometimes the things we're grateful for get lost in the noise of other thoughts that bully us to be heard first. i grew up in an environment where emotions were taboo, so creativity became my journal. Every day is something to be grateful for.

i'm grateful that i woke up this morning, and that i don't take breathing or being alive for granted.

i'm grateful that my thoughts are monitored by the Spirit, who guides me in truth.

i'm grateful that i could take the sun, moon and stars for granted if i wanted to, because that's how reliable they are but that i don't.

This morning i'm grateful for " apricity"- the warmth of the sun on this chilly morning.

i'm grateful for my good health, i'm thankful that i can maintain my property myself and grateful to be given stewardship over this little piece of land.

Some of the things that i'm grateful for are things that other people pray for with a hope that someday they'll have - a dry and safe place to live, food on my table, reliable transportation and the freedom to do, to be, and to openly live in my faith. And knowing this makes me not take a single thing for granted.
