Introduction I saw a huge traffic jam, well, it was a multi-lane motorway full of cars. I thought of all the people trapped inside those wheeled tin boxes and how they were like rats, lemmings and insects, the vehicles rather than the people.

I Once Wrote A Villanelle
Introduction I know my friend Harper Lewis is not partial to the villanelle form, while I love using it (and many others). This is just a bit of fun because I wanted to write a poem, but it is one o'clock in the morning, and I don't have time to write a serious one, though I do need to do another Sestina and a Chant Royal.
