Ephemeral Whispers
Piercing through the veils of morn, a sun's embrace, Paints skies with hues of fire, nature's grace. Ephemeral whispers in the breeze take flight, Secrets woven in petals, a symphony of light. Passing seasons like pages turned in air, Moments caught in the snare of Time's stare. In every droplet's fall, a story finds its way, A dance of fleeting moments, night and day. Promises whispered by the crescent moon, Stars conspire, the universe in tune. Through the labyrinth of life, we find our quest, In whispers of eternity, we're blessed. Paths converge and diverge, a cosmic play, Destiny and choice entwine in twilight's ray. Ephemeral whispers guide us through the sublime, In the dance of time, we find our rhyme.

Why I enjoy writing Ekphrastic Poetry
When I started writing poetry as a child, I used it as a medium to express my feelings. The themes I wrote about were just as limited as the exposure I had to the world. I kept a diary for such poems, and I still return to those pages realising the naivety and innocence of my perspective. I drew inspiration from pop songs and poetry that was part of my school curriculum for vocabulary or phrases that are repeated in my early drafts. One thing was for sure, I enjoyed writing and nothing could stop me from pursuing to hone the craft.
