Ballad
Husk
You swept into my life And stole all my nights That bled into years My greatest of fears Animated within A soulless husk Frankenstein At least Left his monster with a mob Where by the end Even our passion was an act Until you finally Blessedly Evaporated Leaving me alone with A blood-drained heart And a wine-stained bed

The Boy Fionn
Introduction This is my twenty-second piece inspired by Justine G. Cappelli's beautiful and inspirational artwork. I love that Justine always gives a full story behind the painting, which gives me more than just the painting to work from.

Left Untamed . Top Story - August 2026.
Wild wings seek the wood Where the Fair Folk wander free Some things bloom untamed Old tales say the Fair Folk favour the wild paths, where bramble and rowan grow as they please. Wander there long enough, and you may find the woods have loosened more than leaves from the branches.

Face Off
Introduction I don't know all of these artists, but I have a few of their albums, and I thought it would be a good idea to write a poem that mentions the nine artists shown, and then include a track from the album (if I have it) or just a song by the artist.
