Face Off
A Poem/Playlist Based On Album Cover Photographs

Introduction
I don't know all of these artists, but I have a few of their albums, and I thought it would be a good idea to write a poem that mentions the nine artists shown, and then include a track from the album (if I have it) or just a song by the artist.
The Poem:

The Playlist:
Frank Zappa - "Flakes" from "Sheikh Yerbouti"
Bob Dylan and Joan Baez - "Deportees" from "Hard Rain"
This is a Woody Guthrie song that has been covered many times.
Sidney Bechet - "Si Tu Vois Ma Mère (Slow)" from "Les Années Bechet"
You may have guessed this one is new to me, but it is rather good.
Carly Simon - "You're So Vain" from "No Secrets"
So who's it about?
Phil Collins - "Tomorrow Never Knows" from "Face Value"
A favourite Beatles song of mine. This slows it down a bit, but I still like it.
Marianne Faithfull - "Intrigue" from "Dangerous Aquaintances"
This is just amazing.
Teresa Stratas - "Youkali: Tango Habanera" from "The Unknown Kurt Weill"
Not my cup of tea, but still interesting.
Henry Badowski - "Life Is Grand" - Title Track
Another I had never heard, but this has a monstrous intro before calming down and is quite a pleasant instrumental.
Candi Staton - "Music Speaks Louder Than Words" - Title Track
A gentle, sad song to close the playlist.
I hope you enjoyed my poem and some of the music.
