Venturing across the land

A singular mission planned

Determined to find perfection

Imperfection leading to new direction

Traveling from field to field

Fearing his fate was sealed

Seeking what seemed an illusion

Leading to his own confusion

Is this an impossible task?

A question he never wished to ask

Stumbling tiredly he took a seat

Reflecting on his defeat

Looking up from the ground

Hardly believing what he found

There amongst an ocean of gold

Stood a flower to behold

Perfection, was this sole sunflower

Her beauty took his breath and willpower

This flower almost too good to be true

You should know this sunflower is you
