You are the sun
I am but the earth
You bring light and life
Into my every waking day
You help me grow
You bring me warmth
You are the reason
That my flowers bloom
My saplings grow
You cause the Aurora Borealis in my night sky
Without you I would be nothing
A barren chunk of rock
With nothing
No spark of life
Floating absently in space
With no course
No purpose
But with you
I have that course
That purpose
That spark of life
Meaning
You are the source of my life
You are my warmth
You are the sun to my earth
