“St Michael, St Michael, are you ready to fly?
The heart of a warrior, the soul of a saint, on wings like an eagle, it is he who waits.
The King of all Angels, the Defender from Evil- he is always watching, waiting and listening;
He leans on his sword of Righteousness every ready for the call.
He will swoop down, defeat the evil and as our Warrior and our Defender, he will safely bring us home.
Michael is courageous, Michael is gracious and he is God’s right hand man
Who commands the heavenly Army. When he swoops down and gently holds you, it is all in our God’s plan
To send an Angel, this mighty Angel, to deliver us from evil as he safely brings us Home.
He will always slay the demons who will come to steal your soul, and he’ll keep you safe and cradled as he flies you to your Home.
St. Michael is our Angel and by the Grace of God’s Mercy, he’ll be there for you and me.
He’s our Protector while we’re living, and our Deliverer when we leave.
So when you hear the rush of mighty wings and see this Angel with his sword, just let go and knows it’s Michael
Who has come to take you Home.

I would not ask you to pluck a single feather from your wings for me, But Heaven knows, I cannot fly anymore. A/N: Does this count as sad poetry? Llion the Brave Version 2
Her screams diminished as Llion was dragged away from the cell. The stench in the corridor was less but there was still damp, decay, defecation, death. His feet dragged, like a raggedy puppet, the guard either side of him holding him fast. He could feel their individual fingers digging into his scant flesh, leaving their impression on his bones.

Thank you Rowan Finley! There is only One who knows our path and it’s always the right one if we trust in Him. St . Michael is mentioned only once in the Bible, but he is our Protector and he will slay Satan as the leader of God’s Army-
Such amazing imagery and it makes me so thankful for God using His Heavenly hosts for service to His Kingdom! As humans, it is humbling to think that He wants to use us too!
