Here Comes the Sun

Rise.

Day breaks.

Seize the morning!

Changing seasons.

It's been too long,

Since the beauty and heat have graced this land.

Color

Replaces drab.

Suddenly, weather seems better.

New dawn,

After a night's slumber

A new day has come to see us all.

Life.

Rain nourishes,

and your light awakens.

Your light,

following such a shower,

announces safety to travel outdoors in splendor once more.

...Kissed hands.

...Stroked tans.

Vitamin D;

Natural greatness,

In your returning beauty.

Winter comes;

You're missed in cold.

Your splendor tempts and tricks us tickling snowgrounds with gold

Spring's here; come rain.

Again, your sight is rare.

Alas, without a rainstorm, the ground could be bare.

I'll wait; again, I'll wait

To see you one more time;

And feel the warmth of your rays

and the embrace of your golden shine...
