May your sweet dreams be good

We're skin to skin beneath the blanket,

holding each other throughout the night,

laid down our worries with no regret,

we're skin to skin beneath the blanket.

Side by side we have a dream to catch

to ensure everything will be right;

we're skin to skin beneath the blanket,

holding each other throughout the night.

.

Sleeping Beauty - may your sweet dreams be good.

Sleeping Beauty - rest yourself in my arms.

Sleeping Beauty - may your nighttime be good.

Babe, I will hold you warm!

.

We're breathing love with every motion,

divided, united in our dream,

living sweet love as in our notion,

we're breathing love with every motion.

May the cruel world accept our exclusion

until we can rejoin the day-team;

we're breathing love with every motion,

divided, united in our dream.

.

Sleeping Beauty - may your sweet dream be fine.

Sleeping Beauty - bath yourself in my love.

Sleeping Beauty - may your heart rest in mine.

Babe, you are my love!

A few years ago I wondered, if it is possible to use tradional poetry forms in song lyrics with all the rhythm and style changes a good songs come up with. I wrote hundret+ triolets already and realised that they easily can be used as verses for such song lyrics.
