Scorecards of Fate
Reflections on the Moment of Truth
Silence drapes the classroom cold,
Where once the fervor of answers rolled.
Now just echoes of the fight,
Where young minds soared or trembled in fright.
In the garden of intellect, seeds were sown,
Watered by sweat and toil alone.
Each petal of knowledge was gently unfurled,
In the quiet battleground of this academic world.
The moment ripens, heavy and true,
As the hour of revelation brews.
Awaiting the decree in envelopes sealed,
The yield of seasons in the academic field.
A deep breath drawn at the threshold’s edge,
A leap from knowledge’s launching ledge.
Scores unfurl like banners bright,
Some with glee, some with plight.
For each mark a story, a journey’s trace,
A sprint, a stumble, a valiant race.
No mere number, no simple grade,
But chapters of the effort laid.
And whether joy or tears do spill,
Each outcome meets a will distilled.
For through each trial, loss, and win,
The truest test was found within.
Thus, as they step through fate’s wide gate,
They grasp not just scores, but shapes of their fate.
Each result but a guidepost, vast and unknown,
On the lifelong paths that are theirs alone.
