Reflection
Inner monologue of a bad moment
I look at my reflection
I'm the one you came to see
What do I even say?
Haven’t you said enough?
How did I let this happen?
You know how
But why...why did I?
There is no good inside you
I want to be good
We all want things
I hate who I’ve become
You’re not so bad
How do you know?
Because we’re never doing that again
I just want to take it back
The past is gone forever
I’m sorry…I’m so sorry
Sorry, can't make this better
I never wanted to...
What, be a monster?
How do I go on?
You keep living
Will I ever be ok?
Healing takes time
But, how much will it take?
Maybe, forever

Brilliantly written!!! Emotional in equal measures!!!💕❤️❤️
So relatable! Love how you put it!
Golly gee, I hope you didn't murder anyone. Otherwise, we all do and have done bad things. The mirror doesn't like me anymore. It really takes courage to make that argument. Good for you.
Gosh I thought this was ace. I think taking a long hard look at yourself in the mirror is one of the hardest/ most sobering things to do.
Hmmm, so healing seems like a never ending process. Loved your poem!
Hope a despair hanging in the balance.
Great self-talk! More people should try this, and the world would be a better place.
Heartbreaking, relatable and soooo beautiful! Love this Will!!
I can so relate to this. Sometimes when a person is going through the hardest times in their life it is easy to lose control from time to time. I know, I've been there. Self forgiveness is such an important factor during these times as is looking at that mirror and acknowledging that, "hey, I need help." The right therapist can really help to get a person back on track.
