Random Octopus Acrostic

Another "What Paul Did Instead of Finishing Works In Progress!"

Oh damn(I really like saying damn), it's coming to get you from the bottom of the ocean

Coming to get you with its tentacles flailing, like some kind of possessed tickle monster

Tentacles stretching out and trying to press suckers into you

Oh don't worry though, it won't really hurt you, will it?

Probably just wants to give you lots of love, a wet sloppy cuddle and a sucky sucky kiss

Unless of course, you are a copepod larval crab, sea star, crab, clam, snail, small fish or even one of its own kind

So, don't worry, if you're a human (you are human, aren't you?) just stay still and enjoy the sight of one of the most glorious underwater creatures - the octopus

*

Thank you for reading!

At this stage, I am not even sure. Someone, okay...three people suggested that I had given one of my previous pieces a misleading title because it did not feature an octopus.

Here is the piece, for your perusal - Super Octo-Haiku.

So walla. Here's your damn octopus, Heather, Cathy, and Dharrsheena.

If this made you smile or something, please leave a comment, click the heart or do both. You could subscribe for more randomness. You get everything from the profound to the silly with me. And random haiku.

Why do you haiku?

Syllable wordplay is fun

That's why I haiku

This carried me through so many emotions! First, the terror of the octopus lurking out of the depths to come and get me. 😨 Oh, hot damn, that was some very vivid imagery! Then, the softening of the octopuses' character - LOVE that; how he might want to give you a nice, big, cuddly octopus hug! 🥰 You know, octopuses are supposed to be super intelligent and maybe they do have emotions of love! Wonderful work, my friend :)
