Quiver

Poem from the vault

I stand on the battlefield with a quiver

Hands shaking as I ready to deliver

My arrows into their hearts with a plunge

Through their sternum and then I lunge

Off the field to a safe zone to drink and tell

Of stories about the rivals that fell

But I tell them one more before I depart

“It's better to take an arrow to the knee than the heart”

About the Creator

Robbie Nagle

Hey there. Welcome to my page. I have recently started walking out the path to writing my first novel. To allow myself other creative outlets, I’ll be using this to post some poetry and short stories that may or may not be in future novels.
