Shipwrecked

Poem from the vault

Sailing the open seas for what seems like years

Missing home, never returning are my crew’s fears

Nothing but water and rocks around this ship

Rocking back and forth as though it will flip

But the sea begins to calm and I hear the muse call

A lullaby to end this journey, when home calls us all

Ordering the crew to go full speed ahead

“Come closer to us” the muse said

Then I heard the crack and saw the fins

These were no muses, they were sirens

But their call had already taken effect

Now my men are I are no more, we were shipwrecked

About the Creator

Robbie Nagle

Hey there. Welcome to my page. I have recently started walking out the path to writing my first novel. To allow myself other creative outlets, I’ll be using this to post some poetry and short stories that may or may not be in future novels.
