Poor Old Isaac

Hidden Human

By MTPwordyPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

for many he was different, walking with a stumble

painless but set to rumble

a long mac coat in case of rain.

A man of evil? OH NO!

a man with a conscience, truly unknown

four cans, a lighter, papers and filters

things to make him feel better when he is without shelter.

Just the same as you and I

he laughs, he hurts, he shouts, he cries

you'd think he was different than I or yourself

yet he still shivers in the snow with poorest of health.

POOREST OF HEALTH?!

THAT'S NOT POOREST OF HEALTH?!

poorest of health is living through two world wars and an assassination of leadership

trying to form a relationship were you're practically joined at the hip

only to find out she has become joined to another hip...

now poorest of health hit him hard

spells of despair

unhappiness

loniliness

prayer

sin

and stressfulness.

for she kicked him out you see

who needs a name on a deed

he wishes he hadn't believed that 20 years ago.

He has a life

had a life

a simple, effective but busy life

I have one

you have one

we all have one

he had one.

Now he walks with a stumble

in pain but hidden away.

every day goes by he wants to forget

he walks around knowing but yet he regrets

you may only judge him on his stumble and stench

but try and begin life on a pavement or bench.

you'll probably not know when Isaac falls dead

but he may have been saved by asking

"what's going on in your head?"
