Oh plastic, how you've changed our world With convenience, you've unfurled Your versatility and strength Seemed to go on at great lengthο»Ώ
From bags to bottles, and toys to trays You're everywhere, in so many ways A symbol of modern life and progress A material we can't easily suppress
ο»Ώ
But with all the convenience you bring Comes a cost, a troubling thing For when you're discarded and thrown away You don't just disappear, you're here to stayο»Ώ
You pile up in landfills, and litter the seas Causing harm to wildlife, and choking the breeze Microplastics found in our food A price we pay for our plastic mood
ο»Ώ
It's time to find solutions, to curb our reliance On a material that threatens our very existence Reduce, reuse, and recycle, we must do our part To protect the planet, and heal its heart
ο»Ώ
So plastic, we appreciate what you've done But now it's time for us to move on To a future that's sustainable and green Where our planet and its creatures can thrive and gleam.
