I will uphold the law,

protect communities, the citizens therein,

and their civil liberties.

I will preserve peace and seek justice —protecting this country from foreign and domestic enemies.

While in my official capacity I will act with dignity, and display professionalism.

Even though they are criminals, and violators of the law tentatively,

I will always discharge my duties without enmity—with regard to premise and vicarious liability.

I will do my part in the pursuit of justice , exercising impartiality—

without concern to status, belief, race, sex, gender identity, and nationality.

I will not use power incomprehensibly.

I will use force sensibly.

I will utilize the full quality of my training alongside of the sense that God had given me.

I will fight crime relentlessly,

and to its victims, I will display empathy.

I will maintain proficiency.

I may have to exceed the training requirements my agency has given me.

Because in order to remain relevant with the times, you have to ensure the readiness of self, individually.

Law enforcement is a line of work to where situations are unpredictable, outcomes are unexpected, and circumstances deviate and change considerably.

The law, and common sense, does not have a good chemistry.

Therefore, an officer must have the ability to think artistically, and critically—as well as the ability to think sensibly.

In all my endeavors, I will execute good judgment, even when things may not make sense to me.

Sometimes, circumstances may warrant looking deeper into the evidence that was presented to me.

There may be circumstances that warrant thinking outside the box—looking beyond the criminality.

This may cause you to place yourself in their shoes for the sole purposes of reasonably objectivity —and understanding their psychology.

There are three sides to a story; but the three sides present may not tell the story in totality.

Therefore, you must have four eyes: eyes that sees things how it is, eyes that sees things how people may perceive it, eyes that sees things how you perceive it, and the inconspicuous things; things that are obscured from visuality, that you may deem a fallacy, and that may be inconsistent with normality.

Between imagination & reality there will always be a rivalry.

Therefore, you must be willing to explore unwanted and unforeseen boundaries to get the truth in entirety.

I am the P.O.L.I.C.E. - Professional Officer of Law Improving Communities on Earth

Primarily, I do this just for the love of doing it, without regard to the compensation, and the money it is worth.

A law enforcement officer has many auxiliary duties.

But to protect, safeguard, and serve

is the initial mission of all veteran officers, retiree’s, rookies, and newbies.

Protecting you sincerely…

because the honor…

is yours truly.
