without you, nighthawk-

nightmarishly nightfall

would be benighted

You're my moonlight

without you, night owl

my daystar would be a daymare

You're my starlight-

Let me be that star

in your darkest moment!

Yesternight’s star

falls to the earth

Elara could not—

toss the star high enough

into the sky

without getting burned.

You're my silver lining

I smile like the dazzling moon,

Because of how loving you are-

You’re beauty speaks so loud

Tender

caring soul dayglow

You’ve made me laugh,

beyond reasons like a clown!

My arms will be your tower,

If grasses fail to spring up

from the ground,

like a brook in the desert all year round.
