O illustrious instrument of glass,

Keeper of secrets, finder of the minuscule and vast,

Subtle yet profound, silent yet so loud,

A humble servant to the curious and the proud.

An unassuming disc, with handle firm and slight,

A simple tool that gifts us with unbounded sight,

Revealing worlds unseen, in light's clear dance,

A realm of wonder, where common things entrance.

O magnifying glass, your glassy orb does bend,

Gathering the rays of light, a detailed world to send,

Lending clarity to realms on a smaller scale,

Where under your gaze, no detail is too frail.

From tiny organisms in a droplet's sheen,

To lines of text in fine print barely seen,

Hidden textures of petals, smooth stones on a path,

The rich tapestry of life, shown in your aftermath.

You render ants as giants, grains of sand as hills,

You draw out the mysteries that the mundane fulfills,

The unseen intricate labyrinth of a leaf’s vein,

Every subtle texture and form you unchain.

O, precious lens, a vision clearer than the eagle's,

Unveiling the beauty of miniature, intricate sequels,

An ordinary marvel, helping eyes to see,

The beauty in the smaller, a universe in a bee.

In your silent power, no secret can abide,

Where the world’s subtle miracles, they cannot hide,

Through you, we glimpse, the world’s infinite grandeur,

The beauty of creation, its intricate splendor.

Ode to thee, O magnifying glass, a tribute to your power,

Unseen become seen, every minute is your hour,

From the mystery of the microcosm to the heavens vast,

Your lens brings the world closer, long may you last.
