Ode to a Fat Roll
That Annoying Friend
Oh fat roll,
How you jiggle when I walk.
Slump, plump, flump.
You make it hard to jump.
I must take a stroll.
At the effort I won't balk.
Feeling like a lump.
I sit down on a stump.
Why must I pay this toll?
Of you I refuse to talk.
Some may think you're a bump -
That thought I just can't dump.
I try to shake the thought of you,
But ever-present you stay.
My mind feels the weight
That my body maintains.
You're that annoying friend I just can't shoo.
Bothering me night and day.
I try not to hate,
But this is the one place I don't want gains.
My reflection says boo.
I push those thoughts away.
It is never too late
To love myself and break free of the chains.
