Nature: Check It Out

Water is flowing as the forest is growing, finding comfort in the thought of knowing.

Knowing the beauties that are hidden within the sand, the water, the snow, and the dirt, the rock, the mud, and all things on this earth.

From the water that falls off the tip of a river over a cliff, to the deer at the edge of the stream taking a sip.

The bear in the river catching the fish, to the camper's by the tent eating of their dish.

A shooting star, making a wish. The northern lights, shining above. Volcano's, tornado's, so much on the list. A world full of wonder, human's in the mix.

People asleep as I stand in the midst, watching them on their phones they won't know what they missed.

Nature is comfort, nature is pure, if you feel down, nature may be the cure.

...

The trail,

Such a beautiful sight,

Late in the morning,

With the sun shining bright.

Green leaves cover the tree's, flowers grow between the weeds, a river flows I hear the stream, am I on a walk or am I in a dream.

Another pathway leads through the tree's along the river's edge, left behind by the fishermen, I will take it instead.

Overgrown with weeds the path is small, shaded by tree's that stand so tall.

Hundreds of tree's, the birds and the bee's, a world in nature is a world filled with peace.

Dark stormy clouds, when thunder grows loud, even the storms will leave people "wowed."

If lightning is striking down to the ground, it may hit a tree and knock it into the stream.

It then becomes a log, making a home for a frog.

Nature can bring comfort and I urge you to try it. Just put down your phone and go outside somewhere quiet.

Take a friend to a trail and go for a walk, soak up the sun as you laugh and you talk.

Talk about whatever you want, just get out of the city. For those without the chance I do feel a pity. Not that there is anything wrong with the city. However a life without nature, well, that's kind of shitty.

I will admit, I enjoy the tourists, cityscapes, and the fountains; but they do not compare to the rainforests, lakes, and the mountains.

I enjoy pool party and love a good rave; but I enjoy even more to explore a cool cave.

I enjoy the fast cars and getting drunk at the bars; yet prefer my nights with a sky full of stars or a trip to a canyon that could be mistaken for mars.

There is so much in this big world of ours, a lot to explore.

You may think that it's too far away, but it's right out your door.

You may have to drive an hour or four, possibly more.

But I assure you that if you like nature, you'll have peace at your core.

So don't wait until sixty to go and enjoy it.

It's waiting for you before mankind can destroy it.
