My own chains.

Under my control.

My own chains.

I put these chains around my own wrists

I don’t need no sympathy

I am the one with the key

To release myself once my time is done

-

You may think it is suffering

But I know I need to go through this

To break through the barriers that have been presented

In front of me to break

-

The journey I am on

And everything in-between

Is all part of this present time

It won’t last forever though

-

Once it is complete

I will be moving forward

To my own utopia

Ruled by me

By me alone
