Moonchild
Dropping Into Goddesses Of The Moon, Selene and More
This is another poem for my Muse with a starting point of the King Crimson song βMoonchildβ, although many artists have used this title.
I am going to base it on the names of the Moon Goddesses from Mythology
π π π π π π π π π
Youβve Been Artemis, Goddess Of The Hunt
And Chastity And All Animals Wild
From Mount Cynthus You You Did Come Among Us
But You Will Forever Be A Moonchild
π π
Selene, Diana They Worshipped You As
And Even Cynthia From Where You Hailed
Sister of Apollo, Sister Of Sun
But You Will Forever Be A Moonchild
π π
Aine you were called in The Celtic Lands
A Goddess of Love, Growth and Shining Light
Arianrhod, Moon and Stars In Your Hands
Epona Loves Horses, Sun Causes Flight
You Are Selene A Goddess Free And Wild
But You Will Forever Be A Moonchild

Such a magical poem! Moonchild reminded me of the Fear Games trilogy by R L Stine. In that saga, Deborah's mom would call her Moonchild because she has a crescent shaped birthmark at her temple.
Nice! Great music! ππ
Forever adored.
