Midnight in utopia
A stripped back vision of a lucid dream
I welcome with closed arms
The untamed rush of wind
Its surrealism engulfs me
Yet I stand perfectly still
My midnight in utopia
On top a lonely hill
The candlelit shadow
Casts no light on black eyes
It’s dark where I am
But the silence still cries
I touched the fire once
And I felt its flame freeze me
My midnight in utopia
No one knows…no one sees me.
