strawberry stains your honeyed cheeks
sabotaging my virtuous intentions,
just the silhouette of your delicate form
highjacks my thoughts, my clever ambitions.
i'm consumed with catching your seductive smile
in the thin glass wall spanning between.
our worlds may be fathoms and oceans apart, but
oh how i long for us to --->c o l l - i d e<--- at the seam.
i'm possessed, no, mad with the endless need
for your guileless eyes to see more than opaque reflection.
i'm begging you to let go, to be freed,
to stop viewing this as one-sided obsession.
until then i'll be your unobserved witness,
a paparazzo patiently stalking your steps,
seeking ways to turn this glass prison to sand,
and allow me to woo and impress.
some might sway you to thinking i'm toxic and tainted,
that what i feel for you is a sick sort of passion.
yet isn't it love in its deepest expression
when i'd kill for your undying attraction?
