Love Poem

Whether you're currently in love or not . . .

Many Wonders of Love

Love is ever-giving and ever-growing,

only when two hearts meet and are ever-glowing.

The say love is patient,

love is kind.

They lack to say love is magnificent,

love is blind.

I don't know what kind of person you are,

but I've noticed what a curious being you are.

To love is to love yourself first,

at least that is what the world is shouting.

But through all their fidgeting and fighting,

they miss out on the love around.

Love is everywhere,

Near and far,

Around in the air,

No matter where you are, the love is always there.

Love is present even among the fighting,

love is the only one left fighting.

She is that person pleading for good to rise.

She is the one who is wise.

Love can end and begin many things,

She may win wars and reign high.

sometimes to her loved ones she clings.

She may not carry always above it all.

She worries and wonders,

about her loved ones she ponders.

She's a fretful mother making sure you're safe.

She is always there for you no matter how unsafe.

She is a fighter you can count on,

someone you can lean on.

Reliable and trustworthy,

she holds herself up righteously.

She has no ego,

so don't fret about that.

Love is patient and kind.

She is magnificent and shares your kindred mind.

She can carry you through most of your trials,

your many tribulations.

She can wipe away your tears,

and clear out your frustrations.

Love brings us people we can teach her lesson to,

or to be with according to her guidance.

She brings us a partner to join in her dance.

It takes two to tango, and two to be in love's trance.
