Drive Safe

Join me on a road trip shopping service station stores
You’ll notice all the highway signs are simple metaphors
These stores provide you everything to help you on your trip
And often there’s a penalty for every store you skip
Life is like a highway and the speeds get pretty fast
You’ve gotta take some exits or your trip ain’t gonna last
A GPS with principles will guide you on your way
A moral compass doesn’t work on those who tend to stray
Stop and order coffee, maybe try a special blend
It’s the service station sushi that I wouldn’t recommend
It helps to drive defensively, we need to share the road
There’ll always be that driver who refuses to be slowed
The State Patrol is watching for the ones who have it “floored”
Your actions have a consequence for laws that you ignored
The potholes are your rivals who can leave a road destroyed
They compromise the highway, so it’s these that you avoid
The road can leave you feeling you’re forsaken and alone
It never hurts to reconnect with family on the phone
Or maybe you could reach out to a long forgotten friend
Cos soon your trip is over and the road will finally end

You brilliantly showed the highway nature of the life. Thank you very much and I subscribed you.
